Domesticity VI

Venue composition and installation of works by 13 female artists from all over the world held in Bali, Indonesia.
To convey the similarities between Indonesia and Japan through the composition of the installation, the geographic commonalities of both countries were illustrated by a series of grids of various sizes and vague boundaries created by multiple fabric sheets to represent the Islands composing each country. By varying making the walls separating each of the spaces with fabric which move based on wind and the motion of people walking, a dynamic space that continues to change was successfully created.

インドネシアと日本には大小様々な島によって構成されているという共通点があることから、様々なサイズのグリッドの連続によるゾーニングと、幾重にも重なるオーガンジーによって作られた曖昧な境界線によって、移動していくことで変化していく空間が作られた。
