An exhibition where guests can appreciate and experience artworks while walking in the scenery of Yoshino Town, Tenkawa Village, and Soni Village. These world heritage sites symbolize the beginning of Japan.
In the mossy forest of Tenkawa Village, which has been designated as a World Heritage Site, a 4.5m square semi-mirrored horizontal curtain stands up facing true north.
The horizontal platform that surrounds a large rock is covered with the cedar leaves that originally existed on the site as if the ground has naturally risen, while the overlapping reflection from the mirrored surface creates a unique atmosphere.
関係-気配 MIND TRAIL 奥大和 心のなかの美術館
吉野町、天川村、曽爾村という世界遺産をはじめ、日本の始まりを象徴する風景を歩きながら自然に包まれながらアート作品を鑑賞・体験する展覧会の出品作品。
世界遺産に指定された天川村の苔生した森の中に、4.5m角の半鏡面の水平幕が真北を向いて立ち上がっている。
岩を飲み込んだ水平面は地面がそのまま隆起したかのようにこの場所に元々あった杉の葉によって覆い尽くされ、そこにある透けて見える実像と、映り込む虚像が重なり、違和感を作り出している。
